HDTV extender adalah alat yang berupa sepasang konverter dengan fungsi membuat kabel LAN UTP cat 5e atau 6e sebagai pengganti fungsi Kabel HDTV. Sepasang konverter ini terdiri dari Sender (pengirim) dan Receiver (Penerima).
