Preparation: (This product can also be prepared in a rice cooker or microwave as per below) You Will need: 1 pack of Choc Mud Cake Mix, 150ml water, 100ml oil, 2 eggs or YesYouCan Vegan Egg Replacer, and 1 high edge round cake tin(20cm) and for ganache topping, 60ml fresh cream is required.
Cooking Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 160 °C (fan forced) or 180 °C (conventional oven). 2. Grease tin or spray with vegetable oil. 3. Add 2 eggs, 100 ml oil, and 150 ml water into mixing bowl then add cake mix. 4. Fold mixture with a wooden spoon. Scrape down sides of bowl. 5. Pour batter into cake in and bake for approx. 45-50 minutes. Cake is baked if it bounces back when pressed at the peak of the cake. 6. Remove from oven. Leave in tin for 10 minutes to cool. Cooking times indicated should be used as a guide only, as appliances vary. Chocolate Ganache: 1. In a saucepan heat 60mL of cream until boiling. 2. Add packet of chocolate buttons and stir until pieces are blended through. 3. Let chocolate ganache cool for 2 minutes and then pour over cooled chocolate cake. 4.
