Ingredients: Maize starch, maize flour, sugar, buttermilk (4.5%), whole egg powder, whey (from milk), raising agents (450, 500), vegetable oil, mineral salt (341), iodised salt, thickener (415). Preparation: 1. Shake bottle to loosen dry mix. 2. Take off lid but don't discard. 3. Add 1 cup (280ml) of water or fill bottle with water to level indicated and replace lid. ake for 1 more minute. 4. Shake bottle well for 1 minute. Remove lid, add lid again and shake for further 1 minute. 5. Preheat fry pan and grease well. 6. Pour batter into frypan and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over to cook the other side. Remove from pan. 7. Makes 12 x 8cm pancakes.
Serving Suggestion: Delicious if served with honey jam, butter or maple syrup.
