Ingredients:
sugar, gluten free flours (maize flour, maize starch, tapioca starch, potato starch), vegetable palm oil(SalDoce Fine Foods uses sustainable palm oil from Colombia under the RSPO programmes. This is also certified Identity Preservation to ensure there is no damage to the environment), banana flakes (5%), maltodextrin (maize), raising agents (450, 500, 575), thickeners (412, 415), cinnamon, natural banana flavour, fibre, salt, nutmeg.
Preparation: You will need : 170ml (3/4 cup) water, 80g melted margarine(dairy free), 3 eggs or YesYouCan Vegan Egg Replacer and a loaf tin(22 x 10 cm)
Cooking Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan forced) or 180°C (Conventional oven) 2. Grease tin or spray with vegetable oil. 3. Place melted margarine, water and eggs into a mixing bowl, then add banana bread mix. 4. Fold by hand until batter is uniform. 5. Scrape down sides of bowl. 6. Pour batter into greased tin and bake for approx. 45 - 50 minutes**. 7. Remove bread from the oven and leave it to cool onto a rack before slicing. ** use as a guide only, as all ovens vary
Using Bread Machine: 1. Add 170g water, 3 eggs (or egg replacer), 80g margarine or butter (melted) and the YYC banana bread dry mix. 2. Program the bread machine to Gluten Free mode - Dark crust. 3. Wait about 52 minuts to bake. 4. Wait for more at least 30 minutes before slicing it to make sure it was at room temperature.
