Berfungsi sebagai Step Down (Buck) jika tegangan Input lebih besar dari Output atau Step Up (Boost) jika tegangan Input lebih kecil dari Output secara otomatis. Misal jika tegangan input berubah-ubah dari 5V sampai 20V bahkan lebih maka output tetap pada tegangan 12V atau 14V atau tegangan yang lain sesuai yang kita inginkan.
