Solenoid valve bahan kuningan seperti kran listrik untuk memutuskan listrik /menutup katup air.
Posisi normal kran/valve tertutup, jika diberi tegangan 24VDC maka kran/valve terbuka dan air mengalir.

Saluran air bisa dipasang untuk posisi lurus dan posisi siku 90 derajat. Lihat gambar.
