How it works

Royal Canin Canine Veterinary Diet Renal RF 14 is designed to manage the effects of renal failure in dogs.

After chronic renal failure, the kidneys are often unable to properly eliminate phosphorous. This phosphorous retention can often lead to secondary hyperparathyroidism – a disease of the glands that can sometimes cause poor bone health – and the progression of renal failure. The recipe is designed to keep your pet from getting too much phosphorous, mitigating the effects of the kidney’s reduced function and cutting the chance of secondary hyperparathyroidism.

Composition: Rice, maize flour, animal fats, maize gluten, maize, hydrolysed animalproteins, beet pulp, wheat gluten*, minerals, fish oil, vegetable fibres, soyaoil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, psyllium husks and seeds, marigold extract(source of lutein).
