Optimized for close-up shots, Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm f / 2.8 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. of Panasonic is a short telephoto, 90mm equivalent to Micro Four Thirds camera without mirror. Designed for strict tolerance in collaboration with Leica, the optical design of this lens utilizes an aspherical and extra-low aspherical glass element to reduce distortion and distortion for sharpness, clarity, and bright color accuracy. Multi-layered elements also contribute to the reduction of lens flares and floating element systems helping to maintain consistent image quality throughout the focus range. As a macro lens, maximum enlargement of 1: 1 is possible for live size rendering, along with a minimum focal length of 5.9 inches for working with close-up subjects. The internal filtering mechanism retains the overall length of the lens when in use. and MEGA OIS also appeared to reduce the appearance of camera shake during shooting handhelds.
