Detail MARWA Tuning Fork Set of 3 / Garpu Tala Set 3 512 Hz - 1024 Hz - 2048 Hz
The Hartmann Tuning Fork is a two-pronged resonating instrument used in the detection and differentiation of the types of hearing loss in Rinne and Weber tests. It consists of two prongs, a shoulder and a stem. The prongs are pinged or struck on a hard surface to produce a frequency of 512Hz - 1024 Hz - 2048 Hz. The doctor then places the prongs close to the ear to assess air conduction, and places the base on the mastoid process firmly to assess bone conduction. The fork is manufactured from premium grade stainless steel and can be easily sterilized between your otology examinations.
