IC Yang sudah tidak asing lagi nih yaitu LM7809 yang merupakai IC yang berfungsi sebagai IC regulator tegangan. Dengan kata lain IC ini akan memberikan nilai output yang tetap yaitu9V merkipun tegangan inputnya berkisar diantara10.5-24V DC.

IC ini sering dipakai sebagai power suplly untuk berbagai rangkaian yang bekerja pada tegangan 9V. Arus Output sendiri cukup besar yaitu 1.5A dengan syarat jika bebannya 1 atau lebih maka wajib memakai Heatsing atau Pendingin.
