Coconut flour is a soft flour produced from dried coconut meat. It is suitable for consumption by people who are sensitive to gluten, who are following a paleo or low carbohydrate diet.
Use coconut flour to make breads, cakes, biscuits, pancakes and muffins, in curries, smoothies, sprinkled on top of muesli or yoghurt, as a protein-packed porridge and coat fish or meat.
Tip: Replace 25% of the wheat flour with coconut flour, while also increasing the liquid by the same measure.
If your recipe calls for 2 cups grain flour 1 cup water
Replace with ½ cup coconut flour 1 ½ cups grain flour 1 ½ cups water
