How to decode the frequency from another radio:
Press Menu button and * button, AR-F5 will search for other radio transmission frequency and privacy code. Press Menu again to save the frequency. Both walkie-talkies use the same frequency and security code to establish normal communication.
(Attention: other radios need to press PTT, and the distance between two walkie-talkies is within 30CM.)
